An outstanding review of inverted rate curves (complete with very sexy animation of the curve going back to March 1977). You have to like a financial website that has an entry prone to remind one of a flipbook.
Not sure I agree with this sentiment, however:
Inverted yield curves are rare. Never ignore them. They are always followed by economic slowdown — or outright recession — as well as lower interest rates across the board.
